Salesforce CRM

Salesforce holds accounts, opportunities, and service cases on a single customer record, so sales and support are looking at the same history rather than at two versions of it. Nexio resells it, implements it, integrates it, and supports it afterwards.

One customer record, not four

Sales, service, marketing, and commerce work from one shared view of the customer. When support opens a ticket they can see the open deal; when sales calls they can see last week’s complaint.

That single record is the whole argument for Salesforce. Most organisations do not lack customer data, they hold it in four systems that disagree, and the disagreement is what the customer experiences.

Sales Cloud: the pipeline and the forecast

Accounts and contacts, lead capture and qualification, opportunity and pipeline management, quoting, and forecasting run as one process rather than as a chain of handovers.

The forecast is assembled from the opportunities the team is already updating, so it reflects the pipeline as it stands rather than a spreadsheet built the night before the review.

Service Cloud: cases across every channel

Case management, knowledge, self-service portals, telephony, and digital channels sit in one console, with routing and escalation rules deciding who picks a case up.

Salesforce now brands this Agentforce Service, having previously called it Service Cloud. The capability is continuous; only the name has moved, which is worth knowing when comparing current documentation with older material.

Automation, and AI on top of it

Routing, approvals, field updates, and follow-up tasks are configured as rules and flows rather than remembered by people, which is where most of the day-to-day time saving actually comes from.

Salesforce layers its AI, Einstein and Agentforce, on top of that same data. It is worth treating the AI as a reason to get the underlying records clean rather than as a substitute for doing so; it reasons over what you actually hold.

Extensible, and widely known

Objects, fields, and workflows are configured rather than coded, with APIs and a large marketplace of established applications when something more is needed.

There is also a practical hiring benefit that rarely gets stated: Salesforce skills are common in the market, and its training is public and free, so a company is not dependent on one person who understands the system.

Nexio’s role

Nexio resells Salesforce and delivers it: shaping the objects and processes around how your business actually sells and serves, migrating existing customer data, integrating the systems you keep, training your teams, and supporting it afterwards.
